Türksat Channel Update System is designed to carry channel and frequency changes to compatible receivers. On a supported TV or set-top box, try the automatic update path before wiping personal settings with a full reinstall.
No TKGS option does not automatically mean a fault. The model may not support it or the manufacturer may expose it elsewhere. Standard DVB-S/S2 auto tuning with Network Search can rebuild the list.
Many TVs show two meters. Level can simply indicate RF energy at the tuner input; quality indicates a valid lock on the selected transponder. A TV can show very high level and still find zero channels when quality is zero.
Compare quality on 12380 and 12423. Universal LNBs commonly use 9750/10600 with 22 kHz Auto. DiSEqC mapping in communal systems is installation-specific; “Türksat is always 1/4” is not a universal rule.
Manufacturers use the same satellite standards through Tizen, webOS, Android TV, Google TV and proprietary interfaces, but menu structure differs. Even within one brand, a 2018 model and a 2025/2026 model can place satellite tuning under different headings.

First define the scope: all channels gone, only a few missing, or scan returns zero? Then compare quality on 12380 V 27500 and 12423 H 30000. With quality present, continue on the channel-list side; with no quality, move to the RF path.
Only horizontal or only vertical services missing is a strong clue for 13/18 V polarization switching, connectors, LNB or multiswitch. For one missing service, scan its current transponder instead of deleting the entire list.
Factory reset can remove Wi-Fi, picture, app and personal channel settings, while it cannot repair a bad cable or wrong DiSEqC port. Complete TKGS, both network references, Network Search and signal-quality checks first.
Some manufacturers require a reset for specific model/TKGS initial setup procedures. Use it only when the official instructions for the exact model explicitly call for it.
