PHP Selector is a CloudLinux component that operates on top of CageFS, allowing each user to choose their PHP version and module according to their requirements. To enable PHP Selector, CageFS must be enabled for the respective account.

PHP Selector is compatible with the following technologies: suPHP, mod_fcgid, CGI (suexec), LiteSpeed. However, it is not compatible with PHP-FPM, mod_php/DSO, including mod_ruid2 and MPM ITK.

Installation is carried out with just one command:

yum groupinstall alt-php

With this command, you can complete the installation of PHP Selector. After installation, users can select their PHP version and module on any account where CageFS is enabled. Now, leveraging the flexibility of PHP, you can easily configure PHP to meet the needs of each user.
